Assembling a Pretty Pad is a fun and affordable way to practice and learn how to solder. It can be a simple weekend project and a great way to get some experience before you start soldering an expensive keyboard. Unlike most kits where switches are soldered directly to a PCB, these kits utilize hot swap sockets and will allow you to freely test and change switches after soldering. Both Plate (3pin) or PCB mounted (5pin) switches are compatible with this macropad.
