A Smooth Nylon Linear Switch on a Budget
These switches are produced by JWK for their subsidiary, JWICK.
Even though these switches are marketed as budget, they're extremely good value and offer smoothness comparable to other premium key switches.
Many users enjoy using these switches stock and don't find modifications necessary because the spring weight is comfortable and a light coat of oil has already been applied to the internals of each switch. However, if you wish to improve the acoustics and want the best sounding switch, it's recommended to install some switch films.
Unlike PC housing, the Nylon housing of these switches is also the preferred material for enthusiast because it helps give switches a subtle sound, similar to Cherry MX Switches.
