In the switch-modding community, Cherry MX Blues are sort after by tactile enthusiasts for the bottom housing.  
The leaf in MX Blues help boost the tactility of tactile stems and can greatly change the feeling of a switch.
Additionally, Unlike Outemu bottoms, which are also used for tactile switches, Cherry bottoms are compatible with a greater range of MX tops from other manufacturers.
Holy Chickie are an example of a frankenswitch which compliments Cherry MX Blue housing with a Halo Switch stem.
