Perfect for Tactile Switches
Tactility is "snappier " with a lighter spring, however some tactile stems have issues returning on the upstroke if the spring is too light. By being longer, these springs are therefore preloaded when installed, and can overcome return-issues lighter, traditional springs normally encounter.
Due to their length, these two stage springs have additional compression to them when installed in a switch, and additionally have a more noticeable return on the upstroke.
