Cherry MX2A Unlubed Blacks

These MX2A Blacks are unlubed and a custom order from Cherry in Germany. The spring base and bottom housing are both dry and free from factory lubrication.

Cherry has released the new and improved MX2A label to replace their previous Hyperglide MX1A switches. The housing design and tooling has been refreshed to give us updated switches with improvements over the previous MX1A version.

Although these are advertised as dry, some factory lubrication is still applied to the leaf because it significantly improves the sound and feel of the switch.

For the best typing experience, spring swap these to a spring weight of your preference.

It is recommended to "break-in" these switches prior to modification and lubrication.
