Eliminate Stabiliser Ticking & Rattle!
Dielectric Grease is a cost-effective way to improve the sound of your mechanical keyboard. By lubricating your keyboard stabilisers you can dampen or completely silence longer keys such as Spacebar, Enter or Backspace.
This Loctite 37535 grease is recommended by popular influencers such as Alexotos and Blacksimon and is preferred over other brands because it's very stable and less likely to split and leave oil residue on your PCB.
The Dielectric Grease from Mechstock comes in Syringes with a narrow nozzle tip to make your experience as easy as possible. Simply apply some grease onto a brush or insert directly into your stabiliser to "plug the butt".
This is a great option for pre-built keyboards that are already assembled but is also perfect for enthusiasts who are assembling a new kit.
For best results, it is recommended to completely disassemble your stabilizer and ensure the wire is properly straightened.
Dielectric Grease Details:
- 1x 3g of Loctite 37535 Dielectric Grease in a Syringe
- 1x 17 Guage Syringe Tip
- 1x Syringe Cap
How to Use:
To reduce rattle, apply a small amount of grease to the points where the metal wire meets the plastic housing; be sure to apply lubrication to both the front and back of each stabiliser.
Add a small amount to start and test if there is any improvement. You don't want to immediately add too much because it's hard to remove once applied. Overlubbed stabilisers should be avoided because they feel sluggish, unresponsive and can struggle to return back upwards.
