Multiple Stages for Faster Upstrokes

These springs are suitable for both linear and tactile switches and will drastically transform the typing feel of a mechanical key switch. Springs produced with multiple stages are very similar to long, singular springs, however, the upstroke is slightly quicker when there are more stages.

When installed inside a switch, longer springs will compress to a standard length but push upwards as it tries to return to size. This makes the initial keypress feel “stiffer” because there is more resistance. After overcoming the initial force required to press the switch, it will feel much easier to press and the spring will remain pleasantly consistent and does not feel noticeably heavier as you approach bottom-out.
